MacGuffin Magazine Nº 15 is dedicated to the stitch: a small act with a big impact. It connects, repairs, and reveals — shaping the things we make and the stories we tell. From textiles to technology, scars to seams, books to buildings, and leather to language, The Stitch explores how this simple gesture holds everything together.

This 10th anniversary issue brings together stories and practices from around the world, showing how stitches define both objects and ideas. Among the featured artists are Koen Taselaar, with whom we collaborated in 2022, and Scheltens & Abbenes, the photography duo who recently deconstructed our bags to reveal the thoughtful engineering behind each part. Together, they remind us that behind every design lies a network of decisions, details, and meaning — all held together by a single, powerful thread.
